A Little About Me

📚 Book Lover: I’m always reading, especially crime fiction and books on psychology.

🎮 Gamer at Heart: I enjoy video games as a way to relax and spend time with friends. I like a mix of strategy, adventure, and just-for-fun gaming.

🎹 Piano Player: Playing the piano is my favorite way to relax and center myself. Music allows me to connect with emotions in a different way, and I encourage my clients to find their own outlets for expression and mindfulness.

❄️ Skiing Enthusiast: Skiing is my go-to escape. It’s a great way for me to stay active and recharge while enjoying the outdoors. It reminds me of the importance of balance—both in life and in therapy.

🏅 Sports Enthusiast: On top of skiing, I've always loved the thrill and challenge that comes with physical activity, particularly team sports. As a former competitive athlete, I appreciate discipline and teamwork but now I'm more about exploring new activities and enjoying the fun side of staying active.

Hi, I'm Masha - a mental health therapist who's as passionate about helping people as I am about a good ski day or a cozy book binge. I’m currently working toward my Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) designation, building on my Psychology degree from McGill University and a Master’s in Counselling from Yorkville University.

I have lived in many countries throughout my life, including the UAE, Russia and Kazakhstan and throughout this time, I’ve learned how beautifully diverse and unique everyone’s story is. That’s why I approach therapy with an open mind, tailoring my methods to fit you, not the other way around. Growing up speaking both English and Russian, I understand the importance of language in forming deeper connections, to make therapy feel like a space that truly reflects you.
